#### How is the range for part RF600526 on non-metal specified? It is not mentioned explicitly in the datasheet.

The read distance is calculated in meters, by frequency on the two graphs at the bottom of page 2 of the datasheet.

It looks like the range is from .5 meters to a little over 4.6 meters
