Hello zsaa2025

Welcome to the TechForum

If you are looking to monitor the torque of the stepper motor, you may want to look into using a [RotaryEncoders](https://www.digikey.com/en/products/filter/encoders/507?s=N4IgjCBcoGwJxVAYygMwIYBsDOBTANCAPZQDaIALAAxgUDMAHCIXQExysUCszIbHdKiAC6hAA4AXKCADKEgE4BLAHYBzEAF9CYOAwTQQKSBhwFiZEEOEabQA)

It may be difficult to monitor the current on the stepper motor as the current is being pulsed through the coils to move the motor [How to Drive a Stepper Motor - Electromechanical / Motors, Actuators, Solenoids and Drivers - Electronic Component and Engineering Solution Forum - TechForum │ DigiKey](https://forum.digikey.com/t/how-to-drive-a-stepper-motor/13412)
