There is a 3-hole pattern above light L2 but no component included. What is that pattern for?

It looks like just blank holes. No component goes there.

The circuit board traces go to a pull down resistor that is connected to the microcontroller. They don’t include that resistor in this kit.
Based on where the three pins go this is likely a way to input a switch to trigger it instead of the vibration sensor.
