We are evaluating the MP2731 for a new design and would like to request the OTP default configuration table for the specific order code MP2731GQC-0001-Z.
The datasheet (Rev. 1.1) documents the OTP defaults only for the “0000” option. Since “0001” appears to be the variant currently available from distribution, we need to confirm its factory settings before committing to a layout.
Could you please provide the values for the following OTP items for the “0001” option:
- IIN_LIM (input current limit)
- VIN_MIN (input voltage regulation threshold)
- ICC (fast charge current)
- VBATT_REG (battery regulation voltage)
- CHG_TMR (charge safety timer)
And, most importantly, the REG18H bits, which the datasheet marks as not accessible via I2C:
- ADDRESS (4BH or 21H)
- VINOVP_CS (16.8 V, or per USB FAST CHG setting)
- IINLIM/VINMIN RESET_EN
- PFM_EN
The last three matter to us because of the intended application. Our input is a nominal 12 V rail (PoE powered), fed directly to the IN pin rather than through a 5 V pre-regulator. If VINOVP_CS in the “0001” option is not fixed at 16.8 V, the part may not be usable in our design. The I2C address determines whether our host driver will find the device at all, and IINLIM/VINMIN RESET_EN determines whether our MCU must re-write the configuration after every input power cycle — which in our application happens regularly.
If a different order code is better suited to a 12 V input application, we would welcome that recommendation as well. Expected annual volume is [quantity] units.
Could you also confirm whether MP2731GQC-0000-Z remains available, or whether “0001” is now the standard catalogue option?
