Can you please confirm that the white dashed wire is the “neutral” wire and the solid "black wire is the “live” wire. I am referring to the power lead wire between the Barrel connector and the power supply

The white dashes on the wire, represents the negative symbol, so it will be the negative lead. So for this power supply, the negative wire will be connected to the outer contact of the barrel connector. The other wire, which is the positive lead, will be connected to the center contact of the barrel connector.
