What kind of switch is this? momentary? Proportional? can you purchase different connectors for the terminal end? it appears that the termination is configurable.

Based on this link, the switch appears to be a normally open momentary contact.
If desired, you could convert it into a toggle switch using a pulse relay. Please let us know if you would like to explore this solution.
