Texas Instruments is a wide-ranging supplier of many different types of products, including many semiconductors. One of their offerings is TXS0102DCTT, a level shifter. We’ve had many questions lately concerning a part marking discrepancy, with customers receiving product that did not match their records of the parts’ correct markings. Is this a known issue?
This is indeed known and expected. Texas Instruments released a Product Marking PCN in 2024 relaying news of the change, which many people missed. Product corresponding to this new marking schema is not defective, nor is it a mispick issue.
