I’m setting up an EDATEC ED-HMI2120-101C, which is based on the Raspberry Pi platform, and I’ve encountered an issue with the touchscreen.
After completing the installation, the LCD works as expected, but the touch coordinates appear to be offset. The location detected by the system is different from where I actually touch the screen.
For example, if I tap a button on the right side of the display, the system may register the touch several centimetres away from the actual position.
Has anyone worked with this display or encountered a similar touchscreen mapping issue on a Raspberry Pi-based system?
I’m particularly interested in knowing:
- What could cause the touch coordinates to become misaligned after installation?
- Is there a recommended calibration procedure?
- Could this be related to the touchscreen configuration or coordinate transformation in Linux?
I’ve also found EDATEC’s documentation regarding touchscreen calibration, but I’d appreciate any advice from someone who has dealt with a similar issue.
