------Question for TPS7A4001DGNR Please Put your question below------
is this part - TL783CKTTR a manufacturer‑recommended alternative (i.e., recommended by Texas Instruments) ?
Greetings,
The TL783 is a substantially larger device and not suitable as a direct or near-direct alternative for the TPS7A4001.
Hi shellie.hung,
I assume you are looking for a replacement for the TL783CKTTR rather than the TPS7A4001DGNR, correct?
He only part that we have available which has the same electrical specs is the through-hole TL783CKCSE3, which comes in a standard TO-220-3 package.
If you are flexible on your maximum input voltage range, your output current and voltage requirements, and are able to redesign the circuit to accommodate a different footprint, here’s a link to other linear regulators which can tolerate input voltages of at least 80V, compared to the maximum of 125V for the TL783. You would have to evaluate your specific circuit board requirements to see if any of these might be suitable.
