Hey there,

im trying to use the HMC321ALP4E for true DC up until 2.5 GHz. My question is what happens if i just dont use the recommended DC blocking capacitors, is the HMC321ALP4E DC coupled or not. Thanks in advance.

Hello nils.moster, welcome to the TechForum.

It looks like page 5 of this datasheet shows with pins are coupled and matched to 50 Ohms. They also mention that the blocking capacitors are required so I would advise against excluding these from your design.
