USA certification of 4771-AC-LP115RC7-06-ND

Hi DigiKey,

We’re looking to purchase a fair few USA plugged power cables (4771-AC-LP115RC7-06-ND).

Looking at the drawings and UL certification we can see that the plug is certified under UL code “MSL-172” and the C7 part is certified under “MSL-173”. The issues is that neither of these references show under the UL directory. Is this because the site has not been updated?

We would also require a reference for the product as a whole. Is this something you would be able to help advise on please?

Along with the “MSL-17x” markings shown in the drawing, there are also the e-file numbers for UL. These can be looked up on ul.com for testing.

NEMA Plug - E210037
IEC 320 C7 - E210037
Cable - E204978

Hi Steven,

Thank you for the response! I should have probably worded it better!

When you search E210037, the references of MSL-172&173 do not show. but the website does also mentioned its not updated since 2022. Are these not showing due to it not being updated?

And then do they have a certification for the all the parts as a whole?

Apologies for this

We do not have control for how the ul documentation is updated.

The MSL-17x looks to be the OEM part number for the respective connectors (NEMA 1-15P and IEC 320 C7). Searching MSL-vn- provides a company named MSL that makes cables.

Also on UL there is a note for the page of the MSL part numbers:

UL may have more information regarding the location for the 172 and 172 part numbers for MSL.

I don’t see a UL for the whole part on the drawing.
