I have been looking for the equivalent of what appears to be the Lotes AUSB0327-P001A according to Gemini AI. Gemini is telling me that a Molex 2171830001 would be the equivalent connector. I previously asked Gemini for an equivalent and it gave me an Amphenol 10137062-00021LF. I ordered it and of course it was the wrong connector. Many of the pictures only show the top of the connector and not the bottom; therefore, it becomes more difficult to check the solder connections. Can you verify that the Molex USB connector will work or if not, is there a connector that will work.
The Molex part, 2171830001 will not work, it is a through-hole/surface mount part as seen in the 3D model below.
Looking at your included photos the usb-c connector is only surface mount. This Molex part, 2216100001, looks to be more correct. Just note that the space for the board mounts and PCB contacts might not be the same as the original.
