What’s the voltage rating on this 130ohm 5watt resistor?

There are several different ways to answer this question:
- Max Overload: 800 V according to the datasheet
- Max Working Voltage: 500 V
- Continuous: 18 V assuming a 50% derating
The resistor will withstand relatively high pulse voltages. However, “pulse” exists on a continuum with long pulses looking more like a DC voltage. Recommend a conservative approach until you have a better feel for the device in real world operating conditions.
