Referring to the below image.
–A-- would be a cable that would connector from C on the right hand side to the device you are wanting the senor readings to go to.
–B-- would be the temperature sensor
–C-- would be an adapter board that allow you to connect the temp sensor(B) via the left hand terminal block to the right hand 3pin header and then in turn connect to the cable(A)
