Specifically, is it a right angle (flat) or an actually curving-back hook? The product images look a bit like typical osc “witch hat” probe tips, but I want to be sure.

This will have a curved hook on the end, to grab a lead or test point.
The “Right Angle” is referring to how the wire will attach. The wire will come from the handle, in a right angle to the grabber hook.
