Sometimes when you search a part number on the DigiKey website the right part shows up but with a different part number, why is that?

An example would be to search part PT271006 which is a relay from TE. When I search this number I get manufacturer number [7-1415027-1](https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-potter-brumfield-relays/7-1415027-1/4924951?s=N4IgTCBcDaIAoBUwHYCMAGdA2EBdAvkA) instead.

When this happens, scroll to the bottom of the page to see what part numbers are listed under “Other Names” to identify the number you searched **PT271006** is listed here which will verify this is the same part.
