Which exact DT9837 variant is part number 6069-410-041

------Question for 6069-410-041 Please Put your question below------

I am looking at part number 6069-410-041 (MCC DT9837 Series) and I need to confirm exactly which variant this is.

The product page lists the following:

  • Sampling Rate: 52.7k — Multiplexed
  • Number of Inputs: 5 - Analog
  • Number of Outputs: 1 - Analog (±10V, 24-bit)

My questions are:

  1. Is this the base DT9837, or is it the DT9837A? The DT9837A is specified as having 4 simultaneous (not multiplexed) analog input channels — can you confirm whether this part number supports simultaneous sampling or multiplexed sampling?
  2. The product page states “52.7k — Multiplexed” for the sampling rate. However, the DT9837A datasheet specifies fully simultaneous sampling across all 4 channels at up to 52.7 kHz per channel. Which is correct for this part?
  3. Does this unit include the tachometer input channel (the 5th input listed)?

We are evaluating this for a 4-channel simultaneous acoustic noise measurement application using IEPE microphones, so confirming the simultaneous vs. multiplexed sampling architecture is critical.

Thank you.

Hello cndtech,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
For the version, DigiKey is unable to provide part specific details of stock prior to shipment. If there are any special requirements for your order, please include them into the order notes and DigiKey will attempt to accommodate.
The sample rate is a length of time or speed, of 52.7Khz is 52.734 KS/s. That is the maximum sample rate.
It looks like both the DT9837 and DT9837A will have the Tachometer input.

Confusion arises when companies merge and do not maintain part number continuity…

The Digilent product page appears to indicate the -041 part number mapping to the -A variant of the MCC product:

Manufacturer’s product specifications are to be considered authoritative, since the product manufacturer is responsible for establishing the specification and producing product that meets it. Information on the DigiKey website is simply the result of an ongoing aggregation and maintenance effort that is subject to error.
