# Winding Mark on Panasonic Inductor Series PCC-M0840M

When looking at the [PCC-M0840M Series](https://www.digikey.com/en/products/filter/fixed-inductors/71?s=N4IgTCBcDaIA4GMEFoC2AGAHAFnakAugL5A) of inductors from [Panasonic](https://www.digikey.com/en/supplier-centers/p/panasonic) the Dot on the top of the part is the “start of the winding mark” and is not calling out polarity.
