The xTool P3 is capable to engrave many different materials including tile. It works by removing the glaze on the ceramic tile exposing the material below. For the demonstration below the glaze is a textured dark gray that exposes a lighter gray below.
Setting for Ceramic Tile:
Auto mode enabled
Mode: Lift bed processing
Material: Single Sided Sublimation Coated Ceramic Sheet
When placing the tile onto the bed, use the material clamps to help square up the tile.
The default setting for the selected material were used for the engraving. As the tile is engraved the light emitted from removing the glaze and reflecting from the tile will be very bright.
When the engraving is complete the tile maybe hot, so let it cool down before handling.
