Internet of Things

The Digi-Key IoT category covers questions you may have relating to IoT at systems and solutions level. The integration of the hardware components (sensors, microcontrollers, and connectivity) is not easy. It is even more challenging to create complete IoT solutions with the addition of software and cloud connectivity. Scheme-it is an online schematic and diagramming tool that allows anyone to design and share electronic circuit diagrams. This is an area of the TechForum where you can ask questions, make comments, and share ideas about the Scheme-it tool. Part Identification

Identifying and tracking down unknown electronic components can be difficult. If you are in need of help identifying a component Digi-Key’s TechForum community is here for you. While our team of technicians and engineers are not able to identify all parts here are some pointers on what information we need to help you identify your parts:

Part Numbering

Many of the parts sold at Digi-Key have intricate part numbers that when broken down can tell you the parts features such as voltage, capacitance, package size or even the packaging the part comes in from the manufacturer. Here in the part numbering category you will find part breakdowns from some of our most commonly asked about parts and suffixes. If you don't see the part number you have questions please feel free to ask and we will answer as soon as possible.

This group was created for discussions on the PADS Maker tool flow by Mentor, a Siemens Business, along with the portal utilizing Digi-Key's Web Services. Cross Reference

The TechForum Cross Reference category is for parts that Digi-Key does not sell or parts that have gone obsolete. Our Engineers and Techs have reviewed the specifications for these parts and made a recommendation for a replacement.
