Gromit
I am now retired, but I have a long history in the electronics field. I was fascinated by electronics around the age of 9 or 10 when my hobby began, but stuck my finger in a light socket well before that. I started working in electronics at 13 or 14 in a TV shop and eventually began troubleshooting and repairing TVs, radios and stereos. After that I was a pager and car phone technician while attending collage. After collage I worked as a technician on mainframes and any/all peripherals for 17.5 years then switched careers and worked for another company in their IT department for 24 years. I was able to apply my electronics to repair obsolete equipment many times until replacements could be found. Electronics is still my favorite hobby.
