------Question for OWS-484833TA-4 Please Put your question below------
The speakers on my Roku Streambar are damaged; the cones are broken, and I want to replace them since Roku doesn’t offer support for this (OWS-4848330WA-4A-B). Would the replacements be the same or similar? I would greatly appreciate your comments.
Hello and welcome to the TechForum, @rasthur! From what I’ve seen, Ole Wolff only makes one version of this speaker, the one that you have found on our site. The extra digits on the one from your Roku may be the result of customization options that they requested from the manufacturer, but any resulting specification changes would be confidential and you’d have to get them from a Roku representative. That said, it frequently is the case that a company will have a “custom” version of a part number that simply denotes something like “this is the ordering number that company xyz uses to request this speaker for their production line,” rather than any real changes.
The short answer is that we cannot confirm it because we only stock and have access to the specs for the base part number, but in my opinion there is a fair chance that it will be the same (or a close enough substitute) as the Roku speaker.
Someone who is more familiar with Ole Wolff’s specific practices might be able to chime in here.
