Country of Origin

------Question for CPC5902GS Please Put your question below------

We need to ship some parts overseas that we bought from DigiKey a while back. In doing so, we need to declare the country of origin. It is not published on the product info page within DigiKey. We found an article that says to add it to a list and then look at the list because it’s published there. however, some of the parts we are sending are now classified as obsolete and once that happens, the DigiKey website will no longer let you add it to a list and therefore you can no longer lookup the Country of Origin. Can the COO please be published on the product information page? Or is there another way?

I am still able to add obsolete parts to a mylist.

I would suggest using the feedback tool for information that you would like to see on the product page.

Hello sean.solberg,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum! In regards to the Country of Origin, the tools on the website for adding the parts to a list are typically going to record what we have for stock in our system. A manufacturer can sometimes change the country of origin if they have manufacturing sites across the globe. This means that the CoO that you would see in the MyList may not be accurate for the parts you have already received. For those, the packing slip and invoice will display the Country of Origin for the parts received at that time.

You can request a copy of the invoice and packing slip from our sales team at Orders@digikey.com if you are unable to locate the documents on your MyDigiKey.

Regards,
Klint
