The “PC2” uses a different adhesive. The other part number uses the standard adhesive, which is a synthetic rubber block copolymer.
The standard adhesive used in the 300, 500, 600, and 700 series is a synthetic rubber block copolymer. However, PC-1 and PC-2 adhesives are considered proprietary information, and PC2 is a different formulation from the standard version.
Note – P/N 310 6"X480’ PC2 is actually obsolete, and the direct replacement is 3M SKU# 7100368138. P/N 310 6"X480’ is still active.
