Eclipse Magnetics is, as one might surmise, a specialist in magnetic products and equipment including electromagnets. One of their offerings is M52175/12VDC, an energize-to-hold electromagnet useful for a variety of functions. A question we’ve gotten recently is what other equipment one needs to make this function, such as armature plates and cables/connectors?
Per Eclipse’s datasheet, the recommended armature plate would be M52171/50ARM. As for cables? The device includes an integrated Hirschman connector with screw termination, which should allow any variety of application-dependent termination options.
