Hirose offers a DF19 and DF19A series of contacts for their DF19 connectors. What is the difference?
The DF19A (the newer option) is being developed in an improved production technique. This manufacturing change does not affect the contacts electrically or physically in any way. However they do offer another wire gauge option, shown below. As DF19A is the improved production technique, the DF19 option will be phased out sometime in the future.
