When looking at the physical part of KEMET T495 series capacitor, you may see the following two shapes on your parts that don’t match the image on datasheet.
1.) The B(bezel) shape. This shape depends on the Case Size ordering code such as T495V477K006ATE150’s case size V. This case do not have a bevel or a notch.
2.) The glue pad. There is a note indicating glue pad location. The shape/design is at KEMET’s option and does not always appear on all parts.
Also the top marking can be different form what appears in a data sheet
Sometimes the capacitor can come with the polarity indicator strip with some half a circle in the right side of the part and not as a continuous strip as shown in the data sheet
After checking with KEMET, their reply was that
“QC Team confirmed this marking is within acceptable KEMET quality criteria and is part of the normal variation in the process … will not affect form, fit, or function of the component”
