I would like to know what the allowable peaks are for this capacitor, only the rated numbers are avaiable

Please tell us more about your application and the definition of peaks in terms of voltage and time.

Two thoughts:

  • Internally, this appears to be a series connected string of supercapacitors. The passive balancing may place limitations on how fast the capacitor may be charge-discharge cycled. Be sure to read the Tecate Group materials.

  • Dynamic data for this part is limited. It may be necessary to contact the OEM directly.
