A recent inquiry came in asking why there was an X and a -Q at the end of PMEG40T30ER"X" and PMEG40T30ER-“QX” when compared to PMEG40T30ER which is listed on the manufacturers page. Below are snippets from their datasheet and manufacturers page.
The “X” suffix on its own, is the new or updated non-automotive qualified “Orderable part number”. The “-Q” suffix is automotive qualified, and “-QX” is the automotive qualified “Orderable part number”.
