Number of units in an order relative to "standard package"

I would like to order 100 of the Molex PICO-CLASP 300MM 28AWG PRE-CRIMP 0797581019. WM15697-ND

The “standard package” contains 50, but DigiKey says it may break down the standard package to fill orders. “Standard packaging is the minimum package size DigiKey receives from the manufacturer. Minimum order quantity may be a smaller quantity than manufacturer standard packaging, due to DigiKey value add services. The package type (i.e, reel, tube, tray) may change when product is broken down into smaller quantities.”

So, it looks like I need to order 100 units in order to receive 100 units. If I order two, I will receive two of the units, not two “standard packages”, each with 50 units. Thanks for clearing this up for me!

Hello @martin4

Welcome to the TechForum

Yes, you are correct.
we receive a bag of 50 pieces from Molex and we sell this part as induvial jumper wires.
So, if you order a quantity of 1 piece you would get a 1 jumper wire.

If you look on our website where we show the price backdown you will see a small box that shows how many pieces you would need to order to get that manufacturer standard package size.

We also have the standard package size listed under the additional resources tab as well
