Orientation of a THS4021ID

Dear Digikey,

I have bought some THS4021ID from your website, ref 296-7516-5-ND (https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/texas-instruments/THS4021ID/374211)

. However, there is no “dot” in the corner indicating pin number 1, only a line on the bottom (see picture). What is the correct orientation of this IC?

It is relatively common to use a line at the pin 1 end of the package instead of a dot.

There are three pin 1 indicators often used on IC packages:

  1. Notch in the middle of the pin 1 package end
  2. Marked line at the pin 1 package end
  3. Dot at pin 1 corner
