The sensitive materials of these components can make soldering them into your devices tricky. What are the best practices for these types of devices when soldering them to your boards?
Panasonic has a useful document detailing this process here: Soldering Lithium Batteries. Hand soldering and automatic dip soldering are both possible, but reflow soldering is explicitly prohibited. The battery body temperature must remain below 85C during the soldering process.
