cable has been damaged. The RF chip is a Murata and I need a replacement RF cable with the connector that fits. I think its an IFLEX1 but not 100%.
Would there be anyone who could verify what connector this is in the attached please
Hello rplc1976,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
Looking at the type of connector, it may be the U.FL connector, that is common for antenna connectors. You didn’t mention the other side of the cable, so I figured you only wanted the connector on one end of the cable. You also didn’t mention the diameter of the cable, or the length. Click here for some options we carry.
Please check the datasheets to help verify compatibility to your application.

HI David
Thanks for the reply - on the other end of the cable is a small 2.4Ghz antenna..
Is this something you might have in stock?
Cheers
Robin
Forgot to mention, the very helpful AI friend suggested it was a Murata connector??
In this case the specific manufacturer of the connector won’t be too important, as it’s going to be a standardized type. I agree it looks like a U.FL/IPEC connector at the end, I checked to see what was used with similar PCB antennae and it looks like they usually use a 1.3mm coax cable.
Here’s an example: ECHO11/0.2M/IPEX/S/S/12-ND
That should narrow down David’s list to the following 3 part numbers:
It’s not a 100% guarantee as we don’t have hard specifications, but this is my best answer based on what we know so far.
Here’s a broader array of antenna with cable combinations we carry intended for WiFi applications and arranged by cable length from shortest to longest. Note that we don’t know for sure what connector type you need, though the ones included here seem among the most likely.

Hi David
Oh my goodness, I’d no idea there was this much choice - I’ll try and narrow it down a bit more and then just order a few to cover all bases…hopefully.
Thanks for your help
Robin
Hi
Would this one look to do the job - https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/sagrad-inc/SG901-1066-ANTENNA/3043577 ?
Nearly half the price of the Siretta one, unless I’m missing something.
Thanks
Robin
Make note of the cable lengths that you can work with. Here’s the lengths of the ones you are comparing above:
From a performance standpoint, the W3525B100 has the worst specs, with the lowest gain and the highest VSWR (its datasheet says it’s 2.5). VSWR is a specification which describes how efficiently the RF signals can pass through the cable and antenna, with a value of “1” being perfect, so the higher the number, the less efficient it is at passing the signals through.
In general, the closer or more powerful your WiFi router is, the less important the antenna specs are, because the signals will be greater, so you would want to take that into account as well.

Thanks David
Do you know if it will be shipped form the UK instead of the States? Postage via UPS is £12.
I live in the Isle of Man
Thanks
Robin

Thanks - order placed, lets hope it doesn’t take too long. Couldn’t find a way of tracking it.
