Ok, now I understand. My mind went to a potentiometer.
When you pot them is it just the underside of the board, or can the entire assembly be potted?
You can bathe the whole circuit, top and bottom. The stuff designed for circuits are non-electrically conducting.
The relay came today and it works perfectly, so I am sticking with it. $40 is a bit on the high side, but the customer OK’d it, we absorbed the shipping costs. Thanks to everyone for the help.
