SMV1255-07LF - have purchased 100’s of K of these varactors from DigiKey in the past few years for ~$0.25 per piece. Was notified by the manufacturer (SkyWorks) last week that these parts are EOL and LTB will be honored until early 2027. SkyWorks recommended buying these from their distributor partners like DigiKey. However, I see now that the DigiKey price on these has skyrocketed to over $10.00 per piece. I would say this is extremely unethical of DigiKey to do this to repeat customers. I could see 2X or even 3X the cost, but 40X ??? Obviously DigiKey cares nothing for their customers and is one dishonest and unethical business.

The cost increase is likely from SkyWorks, as I was able to check another popular vendor on Google, and they are charging the same price as DigiKey. So the increase in price would not be DigiKey’s fault. I believe the part number you are referring to is SMV1255-079LF.
