What is the difference between KAN1102RT and KAN1102RT
Are they the same?Or Is it only in the ON POSITION and OFF POSITION states?
Hi rfq,
Based on your question, I assume one of the two part numbers you listed was intended to be the KAN1102RT (OFF POSITION).
While the datasheet does not define the difference, it is common for some manufacturers to ship DIP switches with all of the switches positioned in the “ON” state, while some ship with them all in the “OFF” state, and still others to add a suffix to define in which position the switches will be shipped, if not the standard position for that manufacturer.
In the case of the KAN1102RT and the KAN1102RT (OFF POSITION), the implication is that the standard part (with no descriptive suffix) comes in the all “ON” state, while the other would come in the all “OFF” state.
