The ChipQuik shelf life mindset
ChipQuik states that that their product will be good for 10+ years. This is from the date of manufacture, however, they give the product a 24 month shelf life because they want their customers to all have a viable eight+ years after the product is applied.
Yes, the product will sit just fine on the shelf for five years and the product will work well, but it is no longer rated for eight + years in use, it would only be five.
