What does the suffix “SP2” in the model number of the current sensor produced by LEM signify?

Current sensors manufactured by lem

HAIS150-P

HAIS150-P/SP2

The meaning of the “SP2” suffix is not explained in the specification sheet, and I am unsure whether the two models are interchangeable.

I hope someone familiar with this can provide assistance.

Hello,

Welcome to the TechForum.

I was able to determine the SP2 ending is for the packaging we receive these in. The HAIS 150-P/SP2 is only available in 100 quantity and the HAIS 150-P we buy in 125 quantity packaging to sell individually.

These are interchangeable parts and the SP2 will have the HAIS 100-200-P parts vs the HAIS150 with the 150A current ratings.

RMS Range
150 ±450 HAIS 150-P/150-TP 1)
200 ±600 HAIS 200-P

Thank you
Ryan

I contacted the distributor and confirmed that the claim regarding the discrepancy in the number of boxes packed is inaccurate.

Notes:

/ SP* – Main parameters are identical to the standard model, with differences in operating temperature, auxiliary connection type, input/output conversion rate, etc.

After obtaining this information, I verified the output characteristics of the two parts, HAIS 150-P and 150-P/SP2, and determined that the difference lies in the input/output conversion rate.

I hope this information proves helpful to everyone.
