Where is the Collector on my TEMT1000 from Vishay

We often get calls wondering which side the collector is on, on the TEMT1000 optical sensor from Vishay Semiconductor Opto Division. If we look at the Datasheet(seen below), you can see that the lens is offset from center. The collector is the lead that is closer to the lens.
