If you are wondering why the received Omega part PR-K-24-1000 cable appears different from the image shown in the datasheet,as the received cable consists of Yellow and Yellow with Red Stripe conductors, as shown below.
Based on the manufacturer’s clarification, this appearance is normal and does not indicate an incorrect part.
Omega wire part numbers beginning with prefix “PR” is called “rip-cord”. Meaning there is no outer overall insulation jacket. Only the 2 insulation layers covering the alloys.
All other Omega wire types have the outer jacket.
Note on the datasheet, under the PR wire column at the very bottom, there is a note:
Two insulated leads bonded together, but with no overwrap.
