XILINX Virtex II Pro. Need Help W/Part number!

We have the older XILINX Virtex Pro here, but the markings are the old Easypath part number XCE02X7-5FF1704C. Before Xilinx was sold to AMD, We could go online and get the information or call XILINX and they would tell us our Easypath part number was indeed same as XC2VP70-5FF1704C Now AMD took over and all that information is gone and AMD has no one there who can help. We are simply looking for literature or proof that parts are the same so our customer can use them for very important production run! AMD has new call out XCE2VP70-5FF1704C and if you put that in it shows the same part as XC2VP70-5FF1704C but we need the original Xilinx
information showing the same with the XCE02X7-5FF1704C

Aaron, Got it open. That is a data sheet i found before. It shows marking changes for the Easypath. It does not show OUR XCE02X7 prefix and sometimes i found when we put that in, it does bring up the data sheet for the XC2VP70 but no where does it 7say its the same part. Hard time finding any materials referencing the XCE02X7 and so far nothing to say its the same part. That is what we need. AMD has a graph of their new Easypath part number XCE2VP70-5FF1704C which on that same graff it shows the same part number as XC2VP70-5FF1704C We just need to find the older XILINX marking codes showing the XCE02X7-5FF1704C is the same as XC2VP70-5FF1704C Thanks STan

Stan, I have someone at AMD working to find this information internally and does see that you have opened a forum question on the AMD website so this will help generate attention. It may take a bit to find. This is not a question I have seen before, and it does not appear to be something many AMD folks are well versed in. I would be sure to keep an eye on the AMD forum as that is where you will get your quickest answer. I also am going to be keeping an eye on it as well, and if they are able to provide to you what you are looking for, then I want to be able to put it here on this forum.

Aaron, i opened 2 cases with AMD. The first one they said it was a xilinx issue and i should go through their forum. They closed the case. I re opened a second time and they said the same thing and closed it again on me. THanks STan
