I am looking for a substitute for zener diode RD5.6ESB2. I am fixing an audio synthesizer and the original diode has failed short.

If you don’t need something that’s physically identical in size, it looks like the BZX55B5V6-TR is a pretty close match, electrically, including having the same tight 2% zener voltage tolerance.
