According to the part number: 3M158638-ND, the 3M scotchcast 2131 got 3 types, A, B, and C.
Please advise what is the difference.

The A, B, or C suffix indicates the size. Part number 2131B is the 173ml size. Searching for “SC 2131” on the 3M site will product a link showing all three: [click here 3M SC 2131 ]. The “A” option is 74ml, and the “C” option is 346ml.
