Adafruit supplies a diverse grab bag of components aimed at the maker market - hobbyists, students, and small-scale prototypers looking for small quantities of easy-to-use devices. One such device is their 4279, which they term the “Ultimate GPS Breakout Board.” There are a few versions of this board; this specific one includes a USB connector. Older versions of the product included a USB Micro-B, but newer production includes a USB-C instead. Which version(s) does DigiKey have and sell?
DigiKey has long since sold out of all existing stock of the older board with the USB Micro-B connector. All of our existing stock, and all stock we’ll receive moving forward, will have the USB-C until such time as Adafruit opts to redesign the board around the next connector in line.
