The label “RTV100” refers to the product family, not a specific item. RTV103 is part of the Momentive RTV100 Series, which includes a range of high-performance, acetoxy-cure silicone adhesives and sealants. Other products in this series include RTV102, RTV106, RTV108, RTV109, RTV112, RTV116, and RTV118.
According to Momentive, these adhesives meet multiple industry standards, including FDA, UL, NSF, and USDA recognition, and comply with MIL-A-46106 specifications. This high-performance series is available, in both paste and flowable grades, offers primer less adhesion to many substrates. Both RTV 106 and RTV 116 adhesives offer high temperature performance.
Seeing “RTV100” on the packaging is normal—it just refers to the product series. As long as RTV103 appears somewhere on the label or docs, you’ve got the right item.
