The kit contents section only lists 20 components, but the description states there are 51. What are the remaining 31 components? There is no datasheet either.

This is one of those rare moments when we get to dust off the old DigiKey catalog to see how the kit was originally marketed.
In this picture we see a small section that describes the contents of the PHJ2 YAGEO kit as every other value from 1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.3, etc. to 680 k.
We note that kit PHJ1 is the complement containing the adjacent values. This was a simple and convenient way to purchase parts. Many people would purchase one kit and then sometime later purchase the complement to fill out their parts bin.
This next image shows the members of the Yageo series. This will allow you to see what is meant by โevery other value.โ
The last DigiKey catalog was shipped in 2011. Itโs a monster nearly 3 inches thick. With the popularity of digital commerce, the old catalog-based model was not cost effective.
Here is a bit of DigiKey trivia for you. In year after the last catalog was sent, DigiKey pulled their customer mailing list and sent many of their customers one of the new DigiKey rulers. Iโm told over a million were shipped that year.
