We’ve had some questions on what, precisely, ‘tan’ means in this case as the wiring can come in different shades and its product images look more off-white than tan. What gives?
While this product is listed as ‘Tan’ by Alpha, it would be more precise to call it ‘natural’; the product’s jacketing does not have any extra/external pigmentation applied to it and is simply the color the material naturally is. That color can vary from batch to batch due to manufacturing process and is not controlled. The wire is functionally identical regardless of that variability in coloration, and those minor variations are not considered cause for defective products.
