Alpha Wire is primarily a supplier of various types and forms of cabling and wire, including an excellent selection of hook-up wire of many gauges, materials, and colors. We’ve had some questions recently concerning differences in color shade/tone for different batches of these wires - is this indicative of defective or incorrect products?
Variations in final coloration for these products is normal and expected from time to time, based on individual batch or factory location. If the markings on the products are still correct for the wiring ordered, then tint variation by itself is not considered cause for defective or incorrect products.
