We’re looking for an alternative to 75160-101-10LF but so far there isn’t one with a gold finish.

Can anyone help with looking for an alternative?

I’m seeing nearly 40 normally-stocked listings that would appear to match on typical points of interest and have a length within ±0.020" of the original.

Connectors of this style are one of the most readily-substituted in the industry, and I’m curious as to whether the reported difficulty in doing so is attributable to some specific requirement or selection factor.

It would seem it is the current rating selection that is getting you the results you are finding.

Are you needing the header to handle ~5amps?
Or would these nominally be seeing lower current passing through it?

I’ll have to confirm first with our engineers but I think max 3A would suffice

Hi analogcay,

Assuming 3A are sufficient, below are a few very similar parts which are rated for at least 3A. We don’t have the current handling spec listed on our website for the Samtec TSW series part, but according to its datasheet, it is between 4.3A and 6.3A, depending on which connector it was mated to.
