Appearance Issues with Amphenol's CL Series Inrush Current Limiters

Sometimes you may find that some of the CL Series Inrush Current Limiters from Amphenol have white stains on the surface of the actual part.

Amphenol confirms that the white stains on the parts are a cosmetic issue only. Please kindly refer to the below, from Amphenol:

“We have reviewed similar reports, it does not appear that the coating is peeling off. The whiter appearance is typically just from the parts rubbing together and shouldn’t impact anything. It is a Cosmetic Issue Only. In addition, there is no shelf life regarding CL’s.”
